Hiring challenges

Does this sound familiar?

  1. 01

    Job ads bring no applicants

When candidates compare only what’s on the ad — pay, days off — you get buried under large companies and better-paying listings.

  2. 02

    Interviews don’t show fit

A short interview can’t tell you whether someone’s skills and personality will suit the team on the floor.

  3. 03

    New hires quit right away

People keep leaving early because “it wasn’t the workplace I expected,” and every round of hiring adds to your costs.

Why Cura

Let them see the workplace. Then hire.

With Cura, candidates see your actual workplace and work alongside your team before deciding to join. They get what a job ad can’t convey, and both sides can agree on the hire.

Get chosen for your workplace

Team atmosphere, how easy it is to work there — show the strengths a job ad can’t capture, in person, through visits and trial shifts.

Meet people who want to use their expertise

People with qualifications and experience come looking for a workplace where they can put them to use. Qualifications are verified with documents.

Meet people who live nearby

Cura matches you with candidates who live within an easy commute, so you can find local people who will stay for the long term.

Catch mismatches before day one

Because they work with you before deciding, “this isn’t what I expected” comes up before they join, not after.

AI finds your candidates

AI is faster than searching by hand. It finds candidates who match your requirements so you can meet them quickly.

No obligation to hire

After a visit or trial shift, you decide whether to hire. If it doesn’t feel right, you can pass.

How it works

From sign-up to new hire

  1. 01

    Register your workplace

In the hiring dashboard, enter your workplace details and the roles you’re recruiting for.

  2. 02

    Receive visit requests

Candidates who live nearby request a workplace visit or a trial shift.

  3. 03

    Visits and trial shifts

Show them the workplace, work together for real, and see whether you’re a good match.

  4. 04

    Hire

Once you both agree, move to hiring. Part-time, full-time and other arrangements can be discussed.

What’s the difference between a workplace visit and a trial shift?

A visit is a chance for a candidate to see your workplace and get to know the work and the atmosphere. A trial shift is a chance for a candidate to actually work with you for a day. Both are ways to check that you’re a good match before hiring.

Do I have to hire someone after a trial shift?

No. There is no obligation to hire. After a visit or trial shift, you decide whether to hire.

How are candidates’ qualifications checked?

For roles that require a qualification, we check it against documents submitted by the candidate.

Who applies?

Candidates who live near your workplace and want to use their qualifications or experience in the role. People thinking about a job change, people returning to work, people who want to work as little as one day a week — all kinds of people use Cura.

How does pricing work?

There is no charge until a visit or trial shift is confirmed. Detailed pricing is available in the hiring dashboard and in our materials.

Start by showing them your workplace.

Use visits and trial shifts to share what makes your workplace great — the things a job ad can’t.
